'It is very important to check your tyres' inflation at least once a month with an accurate tyre pressure gauge. Under-inflation or over-inflation can cause abnormal, excessive wear and tear, which in turn can cause tyre overheating, fuel overuse or even something as dangerous as a tyre blow-out.
